Chapter 2: Trail Side Repairs (10 pages)
For the world cup racer and the beginner alike there is nothing more frustrating than having your ride cut short by some kind of equipment failure (or mechanical). At best a mechanical is an inconvenience that may result in a long walk back to the car, but in failing daylight and dropping temperatures it may be much more serious: Changing a Flat, Mending a Broken Chain, Cleaning & Maintenance, Creative Repairs - sometimes a little imagination and creativity is required to get you out of trouble.
Chapter 3: The Basics (14 Pages)

Chapter 4: Essential Skills (18 Pages)
Now that you have the core skills in place it is now time to add a layer of skills that will allow you to tackle many of the common obstacle found on trails. The skills in this chapter will really make you think about your riding and how the application of weight transfer and carefully applied power will help you negotiate particular sections of trail: Look and Attack, Squashing the 'O', Ski Cornering, Weighting, Manual Front Wheel Lift, Power Assisted Front Wheel Lift, Climbing Best Practice, Downhill Best Practice.
Chapter 5: Theory into Practice (16 pages)
Now it's time to apply the skills learnt in the preceeding chapters to specific obstacles: The Safe Roll, Larger Drop Offs, The Steep Roll, The Mechanics of Jumping, Push & Spring Jumps, Tackling Akward Terrain, Creating the Flow.
By putting all the skills together that you have learnt you will be in total control and all set up to have the rides of your life!
