This is a route specific map and is designed so that route directions and map are on the same side:

14.5 miles
An intense mountain bike ride that’s aimed at maximising the thrills in the area. Technical and fast dowhills plus enough climbing to know you've been on a ride.
2. Salt Extractor
16 miles
A tough mountain bike route that will make you work for the rewards of fine scenerey and varied downhills.
Route Starting Points
The route descriptions start at the Roman Lakes Leisure Park (free car park) on the outskirts of the eastern side of Marple, the access is via Faywood Drive (off Arkwright Road) which leads onto the potholed Lakes Road. There are signposts from the junction of Faywood Drive and Arkwright Road.
Alternatives:
• On street parking in Mellor
• On street parking in Marple near turn off for Roman Lakes Lesiure Park
• Rowarth Car Park, free.
• Torrs Riveriside Car Park at Hague Bar, free.
