Quick Glance

This is a classic full-on mountain biking guide written by Jeremy Ashcroft - routes across summits, passes, moorland and along valleys.

BikeMaps Comment: 36 routes; so very good value. Don't be expecting easy rides - these get you out there and will test every bit of you - including your ability to push or carry when it's too tough! It was published a good few years ago and you will wince or be full of admiration for getting around some serious mountain biking trails on a ridgid!
The book is full of charm, from the lovely hand-drawn maps to the style of writing.
