About BikeMaps
BikeMaps started over 6 years ago. We can deal with orders quickly and personally, and we are very easy to get in touch with by phone or email should you have a question.
Your order (and this may sound corny, but that's the way it is!) is not just another order to us. We share your passion for mountain biking and want this reflected in everything we do (ie from the detailed information about products we have on the web site through to getting your order to you quickly, and to us being easy to contact). And when you get your order we know you will be experiencing the same things we do: planning a ride, contacting your friends, the pre-ride excitement, hitting the trail, getting hot, sweaty, tired, dirty, exhilarated, satisfied.
You can easily and quickly contact us by phone us or email. And we like to talk; so if you have any questions about something on our site, need any advice then get in touch. Likewise if you have any questions about an order you have placed or are going to place then we can answer it quickly.

How quickly will I receive my order ?

If today is Monday-Friday and the time is before 4pm then we will post your order today*.
Even for orders right up to 4.45pm we generally manage to despatch same day.
Weekend orders will be posted Monday*.
Orders on Bank Holidays will be posted next business day*
For orders to the United Kingdom this is part of our standard service and is included in our item price. Order are posted 2nd class as standard and should be with you in 1-3 days (not including Sundays or bank Holidays)
If you require faster then upon checkout you have the option of upgrading to FIRST CLASS post. You can also choose Special Delivery - please see below.
*Under exceptional circumstances we might not be able to post same day however this would be as rare as us cleaning The Beast at Ladybower!

ALTERNATIVE SHIPPING : Special Delivery
We also offer Special Delivery by 1pm (this can be selected in the drop down menu on the shopping cart page). It applies to most UK destinations details. Your order must be received by 3.00pm Monday to Friday (& is subject to stock availability).
Note: Special Delivery is not available at weekends or bank holidays and Saturday delivery is not guaranteed. Eg an order placed on a Friday may not be delivered until the Monday.
There will be a cost to provide this shipping method (price will be shown in your basket when you select the shipping method using the drop down menu).
A signature will be required upon delivery.

Can I pay off a Debit or Credit Card or use PayPal?
You can pay using a debit card, credit card or PayPal - whichever you prefer.
When at your basket click on 'Checkout Now' to pay using your card.
We accept:

What if I want to cancel an order?
As we post out very quickly then the best way to cancel the order before we despatch it is to telephone us 01565 750049, an email may also do the trick but sometimes there can be a delay when emails are sent and received.
If we have not posted the order then we will issue an immediate refund. If we have posted the order then we will issue a refund on return of the order - see below for further information.
After we have despatched your order you still have the right to cancel it as follows: under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase where the item has been unsealed.
To cancel your order that has been sent to you, please pack the relevant item securely and send it to us with receipt so that we receive it within 7 working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service when posting items back to us. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

What is your privacy policy ?
Your details stay private. We do not pass on any of your details to any other organizations. We may on the odd occasion email you to let you know of anything new we have to offer on our website or to provide you with discount vouchers. If you don't want us to contact you then just send us an email letting us know (see our contact information at the top of this page), or there will be an appropriate link in any emails we send for you to let us know.
Your financial details are only used to process the order. We do not store your card details or any other of your financial details.
Do you like to receive feedback on your maps and general service?
Yes please. It is good to hear if we are doing something you like, likewise if we are doing something that you don't like then we want to put it right.

Do you post outside the UK ?
We post to most countries in Europe, when at the shopping basket you will see a link to change the country to the one you require. If you are outside Europe then please email or phone us and we will see what we can do.
